Sacramento King fans are itching to see some basketball under a new reign and they’re going to get their chance next month when the Las Vegas Summer League opens.
The Kings will participate along with 21 other teams in the Vegas Summer League this year, an elevated number from years past. The format will also be different from years gone by, which will crown an eventual Summer League Champion at both the Orlando and Las Vegas Summer Leagues.
The tournament style event will crown an eventual winner on July 22nd, so only three of the Kings games are actually “scheduled”.
Per the Sacramento Kings:
1 Saturday July 13 vs. Dallas 3:00 p.m. Cox Pavilion 2 Monday July 15 vs. Golden State 5:30 p.m Thomas & Mack Center 3 Tuesday July 16 vs. Toronto 3:00 p.m. Cox Pavilion
Game 4 and 5 of the Kings’ Summer League will be determined by their seeding through the first four games.
The broadcast schedule will be released at a later date though as always, NBATV will cover the vast majority (if not all) contests though a great number will be on tape delay.
