Fellow Sacramento Kings Give DeMarcus Cousins & Crew Crap In NCAA Final Four Predictions

With the NCAA tournament in full swing, 10 News’ Sean Cunningham and Ryan Yamamoto met up with a handful of Sacramento Kings to talk Final Four and in the process, caught a few smiles and laughs in a down season for the purple and black. We’re a touch late on it, but, it’s still a good view just to see the guys interact with each other.

Currently, the Sacramento Kings roster employees three former Kentucky Wildcats (DeMarcus Cousins, Chuck Hayes and Patrick Patterson) and given their usual domination of the NCAA, it’s been tough for the former Cats to watch their team falter as the traditionally elite basketball program had a down year. However, for the non-former Cats, they’ve thoroughly enjoyed the tournament so far – especially John Salmons who’s former alma matter has inched their way closer to the Championship game with an appearance in the Sweet 16:

The playful (and seemingly shocked when he learned of Kentucky’s loss) Cousins showed why so many King and Kentucky fans defend the normally fun-natured big man, despite his on-court issues.

Also of note – good calls by former King and current assistant coach Bobby Jackson as well as Tyreke Evans, who both predicted number one seed Gonzaga would fall early – as they did.
