Keep Up With The Sacramento Kings’ Fan Inspired #WeGotSacsBack Project

February 9, 2013; Sacramento, CA, USA; Sacramento Kings fans hold up signs against the Maloof

Sacramento King fans are a special group, across the board. From the grassroots movements to fan sponsored charitable donations which have and continue to send under privileged children and their families to games, King fans are continually showing why they’re widely considered as some of the best fans in all of professional sports.

And while we’ve covered so many of the grassroot campaigns, like Here We Stay, Crown Downtown and the Playing To Win tour, not everybody has been able to show their support to the cause if they aren’t local outside of monetary donations. However, thanks to Alexander Kim (@alexanderckim) of We Got Sac’s Back, that’s changing. It’s a simple process – use some of the well known Sacramento inspired Twitter hashtags, like #HereWeStay, #BurkleUp, #SaveOurKings – write them on something and take a picture of it, wherever you are. Send it in to Alex and he’ll put it on his site. Simple, easy and extremely interesting to see where the support for Sacramento is coming from.

Alex has more on the project at Sactown Royalty and on the We Got Sac’s Back Tumblr page.

If you want to contribute to his project, shoot him an e-mail at [email protected] or tweet him at @AlexanderKim
