So Yeah, DeMarcus Cousins Is Not Being Traded To The Boston Celtics

A late night report from AM 1510 in Boston has sent NBA fans into a tizzy, especially those that root for the Celtics as they’ve brought to a light a potential trade that would send Sacramento Kings star DeMarcus Cousins to the Boston Celtics in exchange for Jeff Green, Jason Terry, Jared Sullinger and Courtney Lee.

Yeah. Go ahead and read that again – I’ll wait for you to stop laughing.

All done? Fantastic.

Even more hilarious is the report that Celtics GM Danny Ainge is hesitant to make the deal as he is insisting that the Kings take back Courtney Lee over Avery Bradley, a talented point guard but certainly nobody that should ever hold up a one-sided trade like mentioned above.

Of course, the trade can’t even be completed as constructed now as players like Jeff Green are ineligible to be moved and the Kings would be ADDING almost $16 million dollars in salary to make this trade.

Okay, you can laugh again.

In the meantime, here is the ESPN Trade Machine – feel free to acquire whatever team star you want in exchange for Travis Outlaw and Chuck Hayes. Then maybe send off Aaron Brooks and Tyler Honeycutt for another star or two. It’s all the rage.
