Sacramento Kings Chris Webber Missing From NBA 2K13 – Create His Player Instead

While the Sacramento Kings continue to get love from 2K Sports in their annual NBA 2K release, unlike NBA 2K12 which featured Chris Webber and the rest of his 2001-2002 buddies as a specially unlockable team, NBA 2K13 is noticeably absent of the one time franchise talent.

The Kings’ 01-02 is still in NBA 2K13 as a classic team (not an unlockable, like last year) however it’s without C-Webb, an oddity considering Webber was included in the game last year. While no reason was given for the omission, the reasoning was most likely financial – either Webber and 2K/Take Two were unable to come to a likeness agreement or there was an issue with Webber’s current status in the Players Association/Retired Players Association as he’s not listed publicly in either.

Whatever the case, many loyalists favorite King is unavailable to play in NBA 2K13, but that doesn’t mean he can’t be created.
