If you’re thinking Tyler Honeycutt and “stress fracture” sound familiar, that’s because they do. The now sophomore swingman has yet again been bit by the injury bug, this time being diagnosed with a right fibula stress fracture according to Jim Crandell.
Honeycutt, who missed the Summer League with a stress fracture has a history of injuries, from a shoulder issue and stress reaction in his leg at UCLA to his broken right foot earlier this Summer – it appears the oft injured former Bruin simply can’t stay on the court.
The injury opens the door for a handful of King training camp invitees as Honeycutt, who badly needs the development time, will be unable to participate for a month or so.
