The good folks at Visual Concepts and Take Two released the much anticipated official trailer to NBA 2K13 this morning and making two brief appearances were the Sacramento Kings.
In the first – and only solo appearance – DeMarcus Cousins is seen posting up former King J.J. Hickson while the Kings as a unit make another appearance later in the trailer, though, they’re on the receiving end of a poster dunk from the Los Angeles Clippers’ Blake Griffin.
So, as you can tell – as we’ve seen what Blake has done against the Kings in past seasons – it’s quite realistic. *badum*
Given the emphasis on handles in the game, it was a bit shocking that Tyreke Evans didn’t make any appearances in the trailer, though, they might be saving that for a few weeks down the road in some other features video.
As we already noted last week, the only Kings who’ve had their ratings released were that of the aforementioned Evans, who came in at 81 and rookie Thomas Robinson, who received a relatively solid 75, given his freshman status.
The game is scheduled for an October 2nd release, but if you have intentions to pick up the annual basketball release – pre-order it. This year 2K has included the All-Star festivities, including the three point and dunk contests, but only if you pre-order – so if you want those, you’ll need to put in your order now or overpay on EBay for a code.
