Andrei Kirilenko Not Interested In Return To NBA Or Kings, To Stay In Russia

It might be time for the Kings to start focusing on some new targets to fill their small forward void as another one of their potential options is off the market.

Andrei Kirilenko‘s wavering on a return to the NBA has apparently swung yet again as the indecisive former member of the Jazz has reportedly decided to play at least one more season for CSKA Moscow. It was just a few days ago that Kirilenko appeared to be set on a return to the NBA and potentially viewed Sacramento as a destination.

It’s almost a done deal and it’s a big win for European basketball. Andrei Kirilenko, the marquee superstar of last season’s Euroleague, according to sources from Moscow has already decided to stay at least one more year at CSKA.

A huge star in Russia, AK-47 stands to make a significant amount of money playing for CSKA and should find much more “success”, both for himself and his team, playing in the VTB United League.
