Sacramento Kings' Thomas Robinson - "I Do It For My Family, For My Sister, Jayla"

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve heard of Thomas Robinson’s heartbreaking story. We covered it here a few days ago and Nathan Mize submitted a piece to us, giving those outside of Kansas a look into the F.O.E. movement (Family Over Everything), a way Robinson and his fellow teammates bonded during his extremely difficult time (Robinson even re-tweeted the piece).

Looking for T-Rob highlights this morning, I came across a video produced by ESPN back in January that mildly relates to the original Tom Friend piece that tore up so many hearts, but this time we get Robinson’s perspective on things.

Like the written piece, it’s a tear jerker, but by the end of the video, you can’t help but be proud that Thomas is now a representative of your favorite franchise. In a day and age where so many players are about themselves, in a world filled with material things, Robinson’s level head and maturity keep it all in perspective – he’s doing this for his family. He’s doing this, for Jayla.

And he won’t be stopped.
