There’s been a lot said about the Kings’ front office recently, much of it poor, both by fans and outside entities – but purple and black loyalists can breath a sigh of relief thanks to David Aldridge, who’s reporting the Sacramento front office declined Houston’s most recent trade offer for the #5 pick:
But their offer of guard Kyle Lowry along with the 16th pick overall to the Sacramento Kings in exchange for the fifth pick overall and forward Chuck Hayes was rejected Wednesday by Sacramento, according to league sources.
The Rockets, who’ve been furiously attempting to move up in tomorrow’s NBA Draft continue to use the Kings as potential trade partner, but so far the Kings haven’t bit on any of the said rumors, which is pretty good given the fans reaction to moving the 5th pick to Houston.
