Sacramento Kings Have Talked With 6-7 Teams About Trading Top 5 Draft Pick

It’s no secret that the Sacramento Kings are willing to make some big moves – one of which is trading their fifth pick in Thursday’s NBA Draft. So, it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that the Kings have been rumored in a handful of deals the past few days and given what we’ve learned from Kings beat writer Jason Jones, they’ll be getting a few more offers in the next 48 hours:

6-7 teams have had talks with Kings about the 5th pick that go beyond usual “would you move pick?” talk, per Geoff Petrie.

Jones also said that Petrie informed him that if no deal is made, they’d be happy with the options they have at five (which could change by the hour given the mass amount of potential trade possibilities with the top five teams).  Thursday can’t get here fast enough.
