Despite a nasty fall for the lover of all things Cleveland last night, it appears that J.J. Hickson might not be donning the Kings’ purple and black much longer, assuming Geoff Petrie has anything to say about it.
You can’t like their chances here given J.J. Hickson‘s season-long struggles, but sources say that the Kings are shopping Hickson hard before the March 15 trade deadline, hoping to salvage something from the last trade consummated before last summer’s lockout.
There’s no word on the seriousness of Hickson’s injury, but we do know he wont be in Los Angeles tonight for the Lakers/Kings tilt.
A serious injury would certainly derail any potential trade possibilities, but then again, his play this year has done that plenty well on its own.
*UPDATE* Hickson will miss three games with a hip pointer.
