Charles Barkley Drafts Kings’ DeMarcus Cousins In NBA Rising Stars Challenge

Former NBA superstar and current knucklehead analyst Charles Barkley (along with Shaq) took part in the first annual NBA Rising Stars Challenge draft this evening, drafting DeMarcus Cousins with the third overall pick.

Cousins will team up with former Kentucky Wildcat and current Washington Wizard, John Wall on Barkley’s team, which will be coached by former NBA head coach Mike Fratello. Cousins and Wall both put on a show in last years Rookie-Sophomore game, so I’d expect the two buddies to have some showstopping moments next Friday night.

The teams are as follows:

Team Chuck: Kyrie Irving, DeMarcus Cousins, Gordon Hayward, Paul George, Derrick Williams, MarShon Brooks, John Wall, Tiago Splitter, Evan Turner and Kawhi Leonard.

Team Shaq: Blake Griffin, Jeremy Lin, Ricky Rubio, Greg Monroe, Landry Fields, Norris Cole, Kemba Walker, Brandon Knight, Tristan Thompson and Markieff Morris.

Be sure to tune-in!
