Just a quick hitter this morning relating to Kings rookie, Jimmer Fredette. The BYU product will be taking part in a charity game this coming Monday, November 7th at Bruin Arena in Utah.
Fredette is the only King currently scheduled to play in the NBA heavy charity tilt, according to KSL.com:
The NBA roster will include Sacramento Kings draft pick and former Cougar sensation Fredette. Another former local favorite will make his return to Utah as former Jazzman Wesley Matthews will join the NBA squad. Chauncey Billups of the New York Knicks will play as well. Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors will round out the bigger names for the game. The other confirmed players are Corey Maggette of the Charlotte Bobcats and Anthony Tolliver of the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Hopefully the tune up will help Fredette get ready for the Sacramento put on and much anticipated Goon Squad Classic, taking part at UC Davis on November 20th.
