Sacramento Kings Memory Lane: Mahmoud Gets Busy

Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf was a weird dude, no doubt about it. But few players in recent NBA history could heat up like he did. Sometimes it seemed like he was a robot, just throwing in shot after shot from all over the court.

When the Kings traded for him in 1996, he was supposed to team with Mitch Richmond to form a beastly backcourt. But unfortunately, he fizzled out and his NBA career was soon over. He definitely had his moments, though, like the one above provided by oo00jam00oo.

Enjoy the vintage Gary Gerould-Jerry Reynolds broadcast team and guest appearances by Richmond, Billy Owens, Bobby Hurley, Olden Polynice and Michael “The Animal” Smith.
