Maloofs Say Goodbye To Sacramento With A Middle Finger Waving

While the Lakers and Kings continue their battle this evening (as I’m currently writing this), it’s all too clear just how the Maloof’s feel about we as fans.

The Maloof’s cited an inability to attend the season ending tilt versus the Lakers due to prior commitments – which we all know is the meeting with the NBA’s Board of Governors, scheduled for Thursday afternoon in New York City. Of course, Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson is also scheduled to appear at that meeting and oddly found time to at least make a short appearance at the contest. I guess it’s silly of me to expect the OWNERS who in the past went against doctor orders to attend games, to at least show up to the season finale considering the circumstances. But I guess not. Oh, that’s right. They were “hurt” by the comments directed at them last time they attended a game.

Well, I mean, at least they gave their tickets to some deserving King fans since they couldn’t attend. Right?

Oh wait. What? You mean they gave their tickets away to Laker fans? No. Impossible. I don’t believ…

Believe it.

Jason Jones confirmed (as did the Lakers KCal broadcast) that New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez and Atlanta Falcons tight end Tony Gonzalez were given the tickets by the Maloof’s – Sanchez and Gonzalez both are well known Laker fans.

Yeah. Stomach punch much?

Need another? Cause I have it…

Adding to the mockery is sister Adrienne Maloof who decided to randomly show up (seriously, when’s the last time she actually attended a game!?!?!?) to film scenes for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. I kid you not. Disgusting. Absolutely, disgusting. Even worse? They had to lie about getting into the game

I’ve continually reiterated my disappointment in the Maloof family throughout this process (especially Joe and Gavin), but, I’m having a difficult time being disappointed any longer – for its now turned to disgust.

To go out like this – trivial as these things really are – to rub egg in the face of King fans nationwide – heartbreaking. Just, pathetic.

A little birdie once told me what goes around comes around though.

And judging by the actions of the Maloof’s throughout this entire situation, I wouldn’t want to be on that receiving end. Hope they lube up…
