Goodbye Arco Arena – Hello Power Balance Pavilion

Arco Arena is no longer. The 25 year long relationship with Arco is set to expire at the end of this current NBA season and a replacement has been found. Yes, Power Balance, famous for their fraud silicon-like wristbands which are worn by athletes and celebrities has signed a five year agreement for naming rights on what was Arco Arena. Terms weren’t disclosed, but, considering Arco was locked into a 700,000 dollar a year contract, one could assume anything will be a significant improvement over the previous agreement.

Here is a broken down list (last updated in September) of prices being currently paid for exclusive arena/stadium naming rights to get a better idea of what the naming rights could produce.

*scans forward six months*

And in future news, Power Balance has gone bankrupt and the Maloofs are currently looking for naming rights for what was once Power Balance Pavilion.
