Kings Plaster Wall-Less Wizards. Where's The Booze?

If I felt like being a dick, I could damper on the Kings monster victory last night. I mean really, the Wizards are pretty shitty – they just played the night before in Los Angeles versus the Lakers – and of course, they were without rookie phenom John Wall.

Screw that. The Kings won. And not only did they win, they played great team basketball. They didn’t continually shoot themselves in the feet. They passed the ball beautifully…most times. They kept the turnovers to a minimum and played a full 48 minutes, even with a huge lead for most of the second half. It was a long time coming and oh so wonderful to watch.

I’d break it down, but, pretty much everybody played well. I really enjoyed watching Cousins and Thompson play together as well. Don’t get me wrong, I love Dalembert’s defense and shot changing ability but his offense is so putrid at times, it forces the Kings to play 4 on 5…and when the ball isn’t moving, it’s eye gouging worthy.

And to the above question about booze? Well, apparently, Mario Elie took it. Sactown Royalty reported (with aid from KHTK 1140) that Kings assistant coach Elie was arrested for a DUI at 2 A.M. this morning.

If you’re losing track about how many Kings players or personal (past and current) have been busted for DUI’s the past few years, you’re not alone. It’s absolutely alarming.

Guess Tyreke wasn’t available to be the designated driver. Probably late to an autograph signing at the park, you know.
