Clippers Dismantle Kings In Thanksgiving Pillage

So, uh, what can you say about last night? No, I really meant it. What can you say?

The Kings got drubbed by almost 20 points to a team with 2 wins coming into the game and they were missing their starting center.

Effort was non-existent and most everybody looked bored. And like I’ve said a million times before – I don’t care if you go out there and get blasted as long as you put forth an effort and that’s not something most of these guys are willing to give on a nightly basis. They don’t play with any flow and their overall basketball IQ is just horrendous. Yes, I’m fully aware of their collective age, but that’s no excuse for their poor efforts and lack of game management.

Most nights the Kings will be out-talented, and that’s fine. The Kings are young and are only beginning to climb the mountain. But to be continually out-hustled, out-worked and out-smarted, that has zero to do with talent. All we ask is effort and we can’t even get that other than the occasional game.

It’s been a long time since I’ve seen such an easy schedule (for any team) to start the season so it’s even more shameful that the Kings are continually being roasted by sub-par teams that are on or even below their level (if that’s even possible at this point).

Plain and simple – we suck. We blow. If the Kings showed up at a porn convention, they’d be the star of the show.

Effort. Is it that difficult?

Apparently.
