Break Out The Strippers & Candy – Kings Win!

I don’t know about you, but that six game losing streak felt like about 27. What a mess.

Either way, Kings win! Finally – something I can’t complain about. Okay, well scratch that – there was plenty to complain about from last nights game, but only an asshole would do something like that.

Soooooooo *introduces himself as Mr. Asshole*…….should I be excited we struggled to beat what was the worst team in basketball last year, on our home court, after we already lost to them once this year? It wasn’t the most awe inspiring victory but hey, a win is a win, right? I think. I guess. I hope. Maybe.

In all seriousness though, it was good for the guys to finally get that monkey off their back even if they struggled to beat the Nets.

The Kings certainly felt the need to make it interesting, once again blowing a large lead in the first half to open the second half trailing before overcoming the deficit late in the fourth. Struggling Beno Udrih capped the game with a long bomb right before the shot clock expired to seal the deal, giving the Kings their 4th win of the season.

The effort was much better than we’ve seen recently but the Kings still had their issues.

I’m happy with the win and the much improved effort – it’ll take more than what we saw last night to win against most other teams however. But, a win is a win. And that’s all that matters – even if some asshole still can find room to complain.
