I think that sums it up well.
I mean really, how many unique ways can I sum up the same game over and over and over? The Kings continue to lose and do so in a eerily identical way each night. Mostly by shooting themselves in their own foot and playing sloppy, craptastic basketball and being out-hustled. And that’s the one thing I can’t stand. Don’t get out-hustled. Please. That’s all effort, no talent.
It wasn’t as terrible as the previous game versus Minnesota, but then again, the Kings came out of that contest looking like they just dove on a live grenade.
Anyway, enough wrist cutting for the day – things will get better. Sorta. I hope. Maybe wish?
Onto the ever escalating soap opera that is the Kings locker room. You’ll recall yesterday that Marc Stein made mention of some DeMarcus Cousins drama in the locker room and a potential trade of Jason Thompson in the future. Nothing against Stein, but, I immediately called into question the reports – not so much the validity of them, but, how far they were stretched from the truth. And of course, right on schedule, Amick does his due diligence and finds out what exactly went down. It’s a considerably long article, but it’s well worth your read and it gives quite a bit of insight to what’s going on behind closed doors with the Kings.
Kings try to get their head removed from their ass Sunday evening as another lotto team rolls their way into Sactown.
