Dalembert Claims Starting Job From Cousins

Maybe not the most fan friendly move, but the smart one. Cousins, even though he’s played more than acceptable (even good at times) basketball in his first five professional games, the defense is severely lacking and the foul trouble continues to hamper his floor time.

Throwing Dalembert into the starting lineup gives the Kings starting defense a much needed boost (the Kings second unit, spearheaded by Garcia and Dalembert has played very well this year) and allows Cousins to avoid getting stapled to the bench.

According to Hardcourt Mayhem, Cousins was more than receptive to the idea:

“I thought it was a great idea and I think it will really help the team.  I won’t have to start the game off and I’m still learning.  Coming in off the bench, I can see how aggressive the game is so I can know how aggressive to be and not be.  I’ll get the feel of the game a lot better.”

What a immature team cancer. All those pundits were right. Silly me for thinking Cousins would work out here.
