The Kings play the Lakers on CSNCA tonight at 7:30 PM PST. But if you’re not lucky enough to have CSNCA (and “privileged” enough to hear Grant Napear jizz all over the mic on DeMarcus Cousins layups) then you can watch the game on ESPN because, well, the Kings are on national television!

The Kings are 3-1, and they’ve come from behind in every game this season. They last won Monday against the Toronto Raptors at home.

Here’s some things you need to know about the Lakers:

  • They’re undefeated (4-0)
  • They lead the league with 114.3 points per game.
  • They have the best guard in basketball (Kobe Bryant) and the best big man (Derrick Caracter).
  • They’re the two time, two time (woo!) defending world champions.

Last season, the Kings lost all four games against the Lakers.

Naturally, everyone thinks the Kings don’t stand a chance. But this Kings team is completely different from last year’s team. Tyreke Evans and Omri Casspi are more mature players, and the Kings are more formidable up front. The Kings have momentum right now, and a win tonight (dare I say it?) could be a franchise changing turning point.
