Good news heading into the season which is only two days away. Samuel Dalembert, who was expected to miss 4-6 weeks when diagnosed back on October 13th, practiced yesterday with the Kings and informed Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee that he’ll most likely be ready for the second game of the season in New Jersey. It’s an extremely speedy recovery for the Haitian big man, who was expected to miss the first few weeks of the season at least with a left groin strain.
Dalembert’s never been one to miss games however, as the season opener in Minnesota will be the first game action he’s missed in the past five seasons. Both Dalembert and Tyreke Evans (suspension) are expected to make their season debuts this Friday versus the Nets.
In other news, being the marvel that I am, Weei.com (BAHHHHHSTAN radio) dropped me an e-mail a few days ago and asked for my horrific fantastic opinion on all things purple and green. You can check out that gem here.
