Kings Comeback On Knicks

It was looking pretty bleak. Down 15 points with just 7 minutes left in the game. Kevin Martin was quiet again. Tyreke was having a good game, but, nothing special. Spencer Hawes couldn’t even get off the bench. The Kings were in line to drop another one…and then something clicked.

Tyreke Evans turned into a man-child, slicing the Knicks defense possession after possession. Moves that had Knicks commentators Mike Breen and Walt Frazier in pure awe. Granted, these were the Knicks…but the comeback was impressive never the less.

The Kings had the final possession with 2 seconds left in the 4th, but their attempt at a game winning layup was held off by the Knicks as they deflected the would be game winning layup off the pass.

So to overtime we go where Kevin Martin returned to being Kevin Martin. Martin rifled off the first 9 points of the Kings OT, outscoring the Knicks himself and leading the Kings to a victory.

Onto Detroit.
