Tyreke Evans Is Clutch

Do I really have to say much of anything else? The guy has no fear late in games. He continually steps to the line and makes big free throws. He takes over games at the ripe age of 20 years old.

Tonight with the Kings down 11 at the half, Evans scored 17 points in the final two quarters and hit the game winning jumper in the grill of douchebag Kenyon Martin to send the Nuggets out of Arco with a loss for the second time this season.

His over dribbling and Paul Westphal’s desire to run him into brick walls can be annoying at times, but, Tyreke Evans is simply jaw dropping at times.

Jon Brockman also got the first start of his career and played very well, grabbing 12 boards while fellow rookie Omri Casspi struggled out of the gate but made some HUGE shots late that gave the Kings the lead.

All in all – quite an impressive evening for the Kings rookies….which seems to be the case every night.

what a shot. This kid is something special and I can’t wait to see how he develops with the latter part of the year approaching and hopefully this Kings franchise gets something back to the way it was and playoffs are on the horizon.Sweet!
