Lakers Edge Kings

Thanks to a variety of reasons, mainly 10 News in Sacramento, I and most likely you were unable to watch the Kings game last night. It was streamed but I didn’t really have the desire to go spend a few hours of my night looking for it when I could be doing more productive things like sewing sweaters.

The Kings ran into major issues in the second quarter which really was the end of the game, despite their impressive fourth quarter where they brought the score back to a respectable level. Jason Thompson and Tyreke Evans both had extremely strong games in the box score but both along with the rest of the squad struggled majorly on the defensive end, especially the interior.

Thompson finished the game with 19 and 14 while Evans finished 13, 9 assists, and 8 rebounds.

One of the more appeasing stats of the night was the Kings ball movement in which they tallied 23 assists on 36 made shots. The Lakers on the other hand had 17 assists on 35 made baskets.

The Kings will face the Warriors on Saturday night.
