Sean May Interview With Hoopshype
There have been far too many Sean May pos...wait, WTF is he doing?
New Kings power-forward Sean May took some time out to sit down with Hoopshype.com’s Jorge Sierra, and pretty much gave anybody and everybody that talked crap about him a big dose of STFU.
Personally, one of my favorite quotes from the article was actually from the first question, when Sean was asked the typical “Why Sacramento”…to which he responded:
Just because I liked the fact that Sacramento is a young team, with a lot of young guys that are also talented. They have a new staff coming in. They’ve always had great fan support and the community there is great. It was just a good fit. The other teams I worked out for, sure I could have gone there. I just thought it was a better opportunity in Sacramento.
Yea – I know – chances are he was most likely tickling my willy ear with that one, but, he comes across as a very smart guy and presents himself well, so I’m going to buy it just cause I can. And you’ll like it.
Of course, later in the article when prompted about conditioning and weight issues, May hits us with a:
Honestly, I never felt like I had weight issues
:\
Well, he was believable for a couple minutes…
All in all though, it’s a pretty interesting read. That is, if you like your willy, err, ear tickled.
