File this one under the somewhat odd rumor of the day, but, according to Oberto’s agent among other sources, the Sacramento Kings have expressed some serious interest in bringing the Argentinian Center to cowbell country. Oberto, who won a Championship with the Spurs, was traded earlier this offseason to the Detroit Pistons in a three team deal which included the Milwaukee Bucks. The 34 year old center is expected to pick a team soon, and has apparently narrowed his choices down to the Wizards, Kings, Spurs, Suns, and Thunder – with the Wizards as favorites.
