Jason Williams Returning To The NBA?

So earlier this afternoon, the Los Angeles Clippers renounced the rights they held over one time Sacramento King Point Guard Jason Williams, which will allow Williams to be placed on waivers and become a free agent.
Nostalgically, it would be awesome to see Jason throw on the #55 again, and return to his first home, but realistically it just doesn’t make a lot of sense with Beno and his five million dollars eating away at the cap even with our lack of a legit Point Guard. Williams’ knees are also a main concern for his return, but here is to hoping one of my all-time favorite Kings finds a home this year.
He, Vlade, and CWebb made basketball not only fun again in Sacramento, but relevant. Ironic we’re in the same situation as we were when we drafted Jason. Hopefully the turnaround is just as quick and just as successful.
